Andy Thomson’s practice is sustained by an interest in the nature and perception of the real; in both a phenomenological and philosophical sense. He works almost exclusively as a collaborative artist, using construction, architectural intervention, humour and video. He is, Associate Professor of Visual Arts, at AUT University, Auckland, New Zealand.
